Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining!

The rain seems to keep coming and the silver lining is that I get to use the loveliest vintage umbrella in the world.

Found by Becky a while ago, it is one of the things I own that I love the most. B, being lovely, said that I should keep it rather than put it on the site. I have a thing for vintage umbrellas, it’s the shape I think, and B would probably not have been the most long-term of owners as she has a good track record of ‘not keeping her belongings with her at all times’ so it would have been left in a cafe no doubt.

The combination of colour and pattern is really unusual and not ones you would choose to put together – but it just works. Thank you Becky!

    That is so gorgeous. It looks like it is made from vintage silk scarves, of which I am a massive fan. I have never seen anything like it! Reply

    This it the most beautiful and unusual umbrella I've ever seen. Heather (above) is right - it DOES look like it's made from silk scarves. What a great way to brighten an otherwise dull day! Reply
