The C-Word!

It’s seems so awful to be thinking about Christmas in September, but I saw a Christmas ad on the TV last night (sigh!) so we are, of course, not alone.  We found the inspiration for these handmade decorations in a book from the 50′s on paper decorations that had sat on our shelf for a year or two. We have been working on getting these produced commercially since spring.

We are very chuffed with the results and are now in the process of trying to get a smidgen of press coverage for them. The spiky stars have a very organic feel to them and there is something really pleasing about how they catch the light. We have used them on wreaths too which came out great….even if we do say so ourselves.

  2. Oh these are fab - easily the coolest ornaments for 2011. We used to call them porcupine balls and my mum says their a traditional Polish ornament. Look forward to seeing the colour range. Reply
  3. Have you had any luck having these made commercially? Reply
    • Hi Nancy, Yes we had them made & sold them for the first time this Christmas - used them in wreaths too. Jx Reply
