What are they thinking?
I thought you might like to see my strange little collection of wooden folk.

It’s seems so awful to be thinking about Christmas in September, but I saw a Christmas ad on the TV last night (sigh!) so we are, of course, not alone. We found the inspiration for these handmade decorations in a book from the 50′s on paper decorations that had sat on our shelf for a year or two. We have been working on getting these produced commercially since spring.
We recovered this Arkana stool for one of our lovely local customers, and are working on a bespoke basis more and more.
The rain seems to keep coming and the silver lining is that I get to use the loveliest vintage umbrella in the world.
Our studio in Chichester is very much a workspace rather than a shop, but we understand that many folk like to see before they buy. So you are more than welcome to visit by appointment if there is a particular item you are interested in, it’s always lovely to meet our customers!
Please just email us at hello@wintersmoon.co.uk or call Julia on 07783 768503 to make a date.
We opened the doors of our studio for the first time last weekend & had a PROPER lovely time!
We are holding our first sale in our new studio and hope you are able to come and say hello.
When? Sat 25th June & Sun 26th June, from 10am – 5pm.
Where? 4 Horton’s Yard, Melbourne Road, Chichester, PO19 4ND. Click here for a map
What else? Parking is available in the yard, and please note we can only take cash or cheque…sorry!
If you fancy making a day trip of it you could also catch the last weekend of the wonderful Robin & Lucienne Day exhibition at Pallant House. And then stop for some refreshment at the fabulous Amelie & Friends.
We really hope you can make it!
Julia & Becky
The date has been set for our studio sale so what better thing to do with the kids in half-term than get them to paint the studio floor?
